Position Summary:
IEM is looking for a
Full Time- Project Analyst
, this position is responsible for performing a variety of administrative, financial and analytical functions in support of the work control and long-range planning process. Develop and analyze performance metrics to be used in organizational decision-making and leadership. Develop and present detailed performance reports. Perform financial and operational analysis. Develop recommendations for performance improvement.
Primary Location:
Candidate must live a commutable distance to Guaynabo and Santurce, PR
This is an in-office role and candidates must be willing to commute to the office.
Travel Requirements:
This position will require work to be conducted onsite and may require work on weekends or in excess of 40 hours per week. Travel and other expenses are reimbursable in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
All interested candidates must be willing to work on site for the duration of each disaster assignment. Assignments typically may last up to 12 months with potential for extension.
Essential Functions:
Develop and analyze reports/metrics using variable systems and Excel to support the requirements of company-wide performance measurements, financial status, crew productivity, and work management effectiveness.
Analyze work performance metrics to identify trends in scope, schedule and budget that may jeopardize attaining system goals. Develop recommendations for performance improvement.
Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives.
Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
Monitor and ensure compliance with work management policies and procedures. This includes the monitoring analysis tool performance and assisting report users with problem resolution.
Interface with various IT support personnel to discuss changes in functionality, software upgrades, and software bugs.
Providing feedback, advice, training, and encouragement to the team members.
Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
Manage performance measurement tool outages and software update projects.
Prepare design specifications, technical documentation, process and procedures and user communications for developed indicators and measures.
Provides oversight for contractors, consultants, vendors, and support personnel.
Other duties as assigned.

Current Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Strong leadership and motivational skills
Ability to organize, lead and delegate responsibility.
Proficient with MS Project, Primavera, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
Knowledgeable in analyzing data in a relational database environment, including Access, MS Project & Oracle
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, Engineering or related field from an accredited university.
5 years of relevant utility business experience (e.g., transmission, distribution, or substation) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Thorough understanding of work management IT systems, operational dependencies and work management policy and procedures.
Experience with Passport Work Management module and scheduling processes is preferred.
Experience managing and presenting to stakeholders and / or Senior Leadership.
Experience in understanding the critical path and Agile Methodology is preferred.
Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective.
