Job Description Project Engineer to assist with the Solar PV and Battery Storage project . 30 OSHA hours for the construction industry and experience within the pharmaceutical industry are a must.
Scope: Coordinate construction activities of electrical and instrumentation contractors for the installation of a 1.3 MWDC Solar PV Plant.
Also, will be responsible for follow-up electrical contractor(s) used for the installation of conduits and communication wiring in the solar panels and battery storage areas.
Reviews the contractor safety plans to ensure completeness and compliance with the necessary requirements.
Perform Task Risk Analysis and Safe System of Works (SSOW) documentation.
Work with the Project Engineer in the timely completion of project as per schedule submitted by contractor.
Perform weekly safety inspections on the field, conducting weekly construction meetings, preparing meeting agenda and meeting minutes.
Sign on behalf of Waste Management Manifestos and other documentation submitted by the contractor.
Communicate to Project Engineer any discrepancy in the scope of work of the project (change orders) and/or any safety issue that requires client's intervention.
Upload and maintain all information related to project design and construction to cloud based project tool (box).
Rectify design errors according to the change control procedure.
Enforce contractor's compliance with regulatory requirements (EHS, CGMP, etc.)
and client's policies and procedures.
Mark up the essential documents to record the as-built condition; deliver promptly this information to Project Leader and Commissioning Manager to ensure changes are incorporated on final design data package (data books).
Reviews construction Pre-Work Plans/Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) submitted by contractors to ensure completeness and alignment with site EHS programs.
Requirements EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE BS Engineering or related field and experience.
Bilingual (English and Spanish). Strong knowledge in Safety Compliance.
Knowledge of OSHA Construction Industry Regulations (30-hr OSHA Training or equivalent).
