Job Summary: The Project Engineer at Company is a key entry point into construction project management and our PE's play a critical role in project success. The project engineer has the opportunity to work beside best-in-industry Project Managers and field management leaders. The role provides administrative and business support to facilitate the planning and coordination of project activities
Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development and management of project plans, schedules, and budgets.Assist the Project Manager in determining manpower levels and arranging for assignment of project personnel.Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.Document, assist with estimating and monitoring all out of scope / change order instances.Identify potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficultiesPrepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.Analyze and resolve issues, providing technical support and solutions as needed.Monitor project performance, identifying and addressing potential risks and issues.Prepare and maintain project reports, records, and documentation.Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.Participate in project meetings, providing technical insights and updates on project status. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field and/or 3-5 years of experience in underground pipeline construction or a related industry.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate and mitigate issues.Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards related to pipeline construction.
