Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage construction projects, including engineering and financial aspects.
Report to the Board of Directors on project-related matters such as progress, resources used, actions taken, and coordination performed.
Plan projects, identify required resources, and manage these resources for project execution.
Identify suppliers, negotiate prices, process submittals and purchase orders, review invoices, code them, and make payment requisitions.
Document technical matters including workshop drawings, Requests for Information, Work Plans, "3 Week Schedule", and coordination with surveyors, inspections, subcontractors, etc.
Supervise Project Engineers, on-site personnel, establish work plans in compliance with the project schedule and goals of the owner and the corporation.
Provide clear, precise instructions for daily tasks according to work plans.
Identify and propose solutions for deviations from the work schedule and budget.
Monitor project expenses, track, document, and analyze project performance against key goals.
Follow up and or Generate periodic payment certifications according to contract frequencies and document project delays, impacts on the schedule, additional work, cost claims, and other claimable issues.
Ensure compliance with contract terms, collaborate with subcontractors for safe and effective site operations, and assist with cost estimates and other project-related tasks.
Assist in auction processes, including purchasing bid documents, pre-bid meetings, construction estimates, auction documentation, and bid openings.
Self-manage new projects by seeking opportunities and participating in the auction process.
Represent the company before the project owner and assist in seeking new clients and new opportunities.
Support budget management, prepare and present weekly progress reports, and monitor project schedule to ensure timely completion.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor's degree (Required)
Experience:
5 year as a Project Engineer or Project Manager
5 year in Civil Engineering
Language Skills:
English (Preferred)
Spanish (Required)
