This role is pivotal to our company's success, requiring a keen understanding of petroleum, fuel, tanks, pumps, and government contracts. The ideal candidate will have a rich background in RFP, bid proposals, estimating, and construction estimating. Familiarity with Procore software is a must. Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion. Prepare detailed project estimates and bids for submission to clients and government entities. Develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring that they meet the client's needs and budget. Lead the project team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation. Review and interpret project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate. Prepare and submit RFPs and bid proposals, ensuring they are accurate, competitive, and timely. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery. Utilize Procore software for project management and estimating tasks. Monitor project progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure timely, cost-effective completion. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of government contracts and regulations related to the construction industry. Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and legal regulations. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and estimating within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on petroleum, fuel, tank, and pump projects. Proven experience with RFPs, bid proposals, estimating, and construction estimating. Proficient in the use of Procore software. Familiarity with government contracts and regulations. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a knack for strategic thinking and detail-oriented work. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Proven track record of managing projects to completion, on time and within budget. Knowledge of safety and legal regulations within the construction industry. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
