Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to oversee, manage, and coordinate all operational aspects of ongoing department projects that impact multiple teams.
The Project Manager will act as a liaison between project teams and departments, ensuring seamless communication and execution of project goals.
Responsibilities: Plan, implement, monitor, and manage all aspects of assigned projects, including follow-up activities.
Balance competing timelines, prioritize critical tasks, and uphold project standards for quality and efficiency.
Identify project issues, develop actionable solutions, and meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction objectives.
Address technical, financial, and organizational challenges by researching issues, providing recommendations, and maintaining documentation.
Monitor and reconcile project budgets, resources, and schedules, addressing any discrepancies.
Implement tools and processes to facilitate informed decision-making within project teams.
Maintain the master project plan and schedule, ensuring alignment across departments and functional areas.
Recommend and develop process improvements to optimize project performance and outcomes.
Provide project management support for department initiatives and special projects as required.
Mentor and manage project support staff, including conducting annual performance reviews and career development guidance.
Generate reports, updates, and presentations for stakeholders and leadership teams.
Ensure compliance with domestic (and potentially international) regulatory requirements, policies, and standard operating procedures.
Anticipate resource needs and communicate them to management sponsors effectively.
Requirements Education: Doctorate degree OR Master's degree with 2+ years of project management experience OR Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of project management experience OR Associate's degree with 10+ years of project management experience OR High school diploma/GED with 12+ years of project management experience.
