Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Property Manager to join our team. This role will focus on managing work orders, coordinating with contractors, and overseeing minor maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish and a solid understanding of property maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Work Order Management:
Receive and manage tenant work orders, including logging issues, prioritizing repairs, and tracking progress.
Contractor Coordination:
Request quotes, schedule repairs, and manage relationships with contractors. Ensure all repairs are completed on time and within budget.
Owner Communication:
Communicate necessary repairs and maintenance updates to property owners. Obtain approvals as needed.
Minor Repairs:
Perform basic maintenance and repairs that do not require specialized expertise.
Fieldwork:
Visit properties to assess repair needs and inspect completed work to ensure quality and tenant satisfaction.
Tenant Relations:
Act as the main point of contact for tenants regarding repair and maintenance issues, ensuring a positive tenant experience.
Administrative Tasks:
Utilize property management platforms and Microsoft Office to manage work orders, generate reports, and maintain records.
Qualifications:
Experience in property management, facilities management, or a related field.
Basic handyman skills and experience in performing minor repairs.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (both spoken and written).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with tenants, owners, and contractors effectively.
Computer proficiency, particularly with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
