Job Summary
JSR Services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Coordinator that will be responsible for coordinating purchasing activities, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that our inventory needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and develop relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Resolve issues related to pricing, delivery, and product quality.
Generate and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Verify receipt of goods and resolve any discrepancies with vendors.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast future inventory needs.
Collaborate with the warehouse and operations teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
Conduct regular inventory audits and adjust orders as necessary.
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Prepare and analyze purchasing reports to track expenditures and identify areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
2-3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
Experience in vendor management and inventory control.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
