Job Title: Quality Manager
Location: Golden Colorado
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to oversee and implement quality control processes in our complex manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management systems, ISO standards, and Six Sigma methodologies. They will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control checkpoints, training staff on quality standards, and ensuring the highest level of product quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Management Systems (QMS):
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive QMS in line with ISO standards or equivalent.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
2. Quality Control (QC) Checkpoints:
- Design and implement QC checkpoints throughout the manufacturing process to monitor product quality.
- Establish criteria for quality inspection and testing at each stage of production.
3. Continuous Improvement:
- Utilize Six Sigma or similar methodologies to identify, analyze, and eliminate sources of quality issues.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
4. Training and Development:
- Develop and conduct training programs for staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness and commitment among all employees.
5. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and report on quality metrics and performance data.
- Identify trends, root causes of quality issues, and areas for improvement.
6. Supplier Quality Management:
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that incoming materials meet quality standards.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments as needed.
7. Problem-Solving and Corrective Actions:
- Lead investigations into quality-related issues and customer complaints.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve and prevent quality problems.
8. Audit and Compliance:
- Prepare for and participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Ensure documentation and records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
