What You Will Do: Manage quality related long-term planning, analytics and metrics Manage customer service requests and selection Develop gap analysis and action plans to continually improve Quality Management System (QMS) Lead and/or participate in continuous improvement events while instilling quality culture Develop and deploy Layered Process Audits System Participate and/or lead quality corrective action process by ensuring containment, corrective actions and poke-yoke implementation Build Quality Competencies and capabilities through influence Acquire, develop, retain, manage talent at the individual and team level What You Have: Bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of 4 years of progressive professional manufacturing/operations experience (preferably in multiple manufacturing functions). Ability to understand the needs of internal and external customers, the business and the competitive landscape Solid understanding of QMS (Quality Management Systems) Ability to develop strategic plans, manage performance of a business function, and lead projects independently Ability to lead cross-functional teams and to interact with all organizational levels Demonstrated ability to lead change, handle multiple projects, and incorporate manufacturing principles Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) What You're Good At: Strong leadership and organizational skills with proven ability to own an initiative and drive successful results for multiple tasks simultaneously Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills Resourcefulness in problem solving HNI Corporation (NYSE: HNI) is a manufacturer of workplace furnishings and building products, operating under two segments.
