Quality Tech-Chemical Lab (3Rd Shift)-Jayuya

Performs testing activities at the Chemical Laboratory in support to formulation and release of manufactured products including initials, in-process and final samples testing. Testing of raw materials and water samples. Manages laboratory equipment, such as pH, Optical Rotation, Conductivity, Titrations, Karl Fisher, Melting Point, Color, LOD, ROI, IR, UV, IR, Flame Ionization, Visual Inspections, Spectramax, Caliper, HPLC, UPLC, Atomic Absorption, Dionex, and GC. Assist in the disposal of laboratory wastes. Performs water sampling and testing activities, including heavy metal conductivity and TOC analysis. Prepares laboratory solutions reagents expiration dates and assist laboratory chemists in preparing mobile phase for HPLC. Active involvement in data integrity, testing methodology standardization practice system and non-conformance material containment process.
Requisitos:
Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Chemistry or Chemical Technology, with 0-2 years or bench testing experience in Chemical Laboratories within pharmaceutical (preferably) or medical devices regulated industries. Ability to communicate, read, write and understand English/Spanish languages. Available for 2nd and 3rd shift, working schedule from Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday.
