*Overview*


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and safety. This role requires proficiency in various imaging techniques and a strong understanding of medical imaging protocols. The X-ray Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to patient diagnosis and treatment in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center.




*Responsibilities*


- Perform X-ray examinations on patients, ensuring proper positioning and technique.


- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.


- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluations.


- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT, PET scans, and mammography machines.


- Assist with sonography procedures as needed, demonstrating versatility in medical imaging.


- Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.


- Document all imaging procedures accurately in the patient's medical record.


- Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.




*Requirements*


- 1 year General Radiographer experience.Education:A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH required. BLS preferred.




Job Type: Contract




Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour




Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:


* 8 hour shift


* Monday to Friday








Experience:


* Medical imaging: 3 years (Preferred)


* X-Ray: 3 years (Preferred)




License/Certification:


* BLS Certification (Required)


* ARRT Certification (Required)




Ability to Relocate:


* Brooklyn, NY 11203: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
