The successful candidate will be responsible for the distribution of financial products within a specified territory, with a focus on developing and maintaining business relationships. This role involves conducting in-person sales meetings, providing advisers with current product information, and proactively reaching out to expand the company's market presence. The Regional VP will also be expected to manage business in collaboration with an internal wholesaler, stay compliant with company policies, and participate in various sales and training events.
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, at least five years of sales experience in the financial services industry, and hold FINRA Series 6 or 7, and 63 certifications. The role requires outstanding communication, presentation, time management, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Proficiency in using technology is essential. A Master's degree and experience in external wholesaling of financial services products are preferred qualifications. The position offers the opportunity to work remotely from home, but extensive travel within the defined territory is necessary to meet with clients and prospects.
