Registered Dental Hygienist

*Overview:*
We are seeking an experienced, friendly Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health. The candidate should provide quality dental care and oral hygiene services to our patients. The candidate should also be willing to learn about airway and obstructive sleep issues. *Duties:*
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and root planing.
- Take dental x-rays

- Provide insight and educate patients on oral healthcare
- Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental Software
- Assist with medical documentation, including medical coding and imaging
- Assess patient's oral health and condition
- Support general dentistry procedures

*Hours: *Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Friday - 7:45am-4:30pm (hours may vary)

Thursday: 11:45am - 7:00pm (hours may vary)

*Qualifications:*
- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist
- Proficiency in dental terminology
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Familiarity with dental anatomy and terminology
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security
- Familiarity with Open Dental software is a plus

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33 38 per week
