Job Posting Description




The Per Diem Cardiology Clinic Staff Nurse will be responsible for:


Supporting patient care in our Outpatient Cardiology Clinic Boston & Satellite Locations.


Provide team–based care to patients with symptoms requiring cardiology evaluation and patients with known congenital or acquired heart disease and arrhythmias.


Role involves both in-person patient care as well as phone triage.


In-person care involves: attendance at clinic session, nursing assessment, patient and family education, anticipatory guidance, assisting with care coordination.


Phone triage performed in clinic: with outside providers as well as patients and or parents and documenting in the electronic medical record.


Working 8 hour shifts in Boston and at satellite locations as needed. (Satellite locations vary and may include: Waltham, Peabody, Lexington, Weymouth, Norwood, Dartmouth, Milford.)


Required to be available to work 4 shifts in a six week schedule block, as well as a day before or after one summer holiday and day before or after one winter holiday.


To qualify, you must have:


BSN degree


Current MA RN License


1 years of ambulatory or inpatient pediatric nursing experience, with preference for pediatric acute care.


Pediatric cardiac experience preferred


BLS required, PALS required after 1 year.
