Salary Range: $37,707.43 - $40,707.43/Annual
RN will be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance as it pertains of health and safety within the day habilitation programs and special medical care as mandated. Coordinates with other medical providers regarding care management. Responsible for monitoring medical care of individuals. Provide medical consultation regarding individual medical needs through 24 x 7 telephone tri-age. Provide telephone triage to agency's staff.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities includes but not limited to: RN will be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance as it pertains of health and safety within the day habilitation programs Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure all medical concerns are addressed Develop individual specific nursing plans and protocols as needed. Update and revise these documents to reflect changes in individual status Maintain health records Available by cell phone in the event of an emergency or for triage consult Review and sign off on body check forms on a weekly basis Review incident reports and provide appropriate follow-up action as necessary Provide continuous training and support to staff in order for them to efficiently meet each persons medical needs Administer first aid as needed or instruct staff on necessary medical interventions Attend monthly clinical meeting or as needed Attend monthly staff meetings Requirements: BSN preferred, ASN accepted Updated First Aid/CPR certifications required 2-3 years working with adults that has developmental disabilities.
