MLR is on the lookout for a skilled and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to become a vital member of our clients team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients facing severe, life-threatening health issues. Your clinical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and swift decision-making will be crucial in ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities for ICU RNs:

Deliver top-tier nursing care to critically ill patients, including continuous monitoring, assessment, and adaptation of care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support procedures, ensuring they are delivered promptly and accurately.
Work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and the healthcare team to create and implement personalized patient care strategies.
Operate and manage advanced medical equipment such as ventilators, monitoring devices, and life-support systems.
Communicate effectively with patients' families, providing them with education, support, and updates on the patient's condition.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all care provided in patient medical records, adhering to hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications for the Registered Nurse Role:

Active RN license in the state of New Mexico.
Associate or Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Required certifications include BLS and ACLS.
Prior experience in ICU or critical care environments is highly desirable.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a commitment to outstanding patient care.
