Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Variable Shift - 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30, 11:00 - 23:00), Every Other Weekend, On Call As Needed Guaranteed Hours: Experience: 2+ Years Required, Travel Experience Required License: Valid State License Required at Time of Submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced Fetal Monitoring (All certifications must be AHA and in hand at submission) Must-Have: - Epic Charting Experience Preferred- Ability to provide a background policy statement if applicable Job Description: - Provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients in the labor and delivery unit.- Participate actively in patient assessments, care planning, and implementation.- Manage pain relief and anesthesia administration during labor and delivery.- Collaborate efficiently with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Ensure adherence to best practices and guidelines in maternal and fetal health.- Adapt to variable shifts and on-call requirements to meet unit needs.- Maintain updated certifications and skills to provide evidence-based care.- Demonstrate proficiency in monitoring and interpreting fetal heart patterns.- Engage in continuous professional development and training, including 16 hours of orientation.This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated RN with a passion for labor and delivery to join a supportive and dynamic team.
