Registered Nurse - Nursery @ Highland Park Hospital

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Nursery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shifts - 3x8-Hour (23:00 - 07:00) and 1x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year required; First-time travelers accepted License: Valid RN license required at the time of application Certifications: BLS, NRP required; AWHONN Intermediate preferred Must-Have: Epic charting experience preferred; Willingness to float among multiple locations Job Description: - Work in an LDRP with a level 2 nursery- Priority given to nursery nurse skills; Postpartum experience is advantageous- No on-call requirements- Every other weekend work required- Must work one major and one minor holiday- EKG test required for ICU, ED, Med Surg, and procedural areas; Must pass on the first attempt with a score of 84% or higher- Candidates must provide accurate certifications and a recent Nursys report- Will accept local residents without a radius rule- Orientation includes 0 non-billable hours- Weekend and holiday work as needed; No floating requirements within the unit
