Acute Rehabilitation Unit
Acute Rehabilitation Unit is a 40-bed free standing hospital, that provides Northwest Indiana residents with exceptional care that is convenient and close to home. The Acute Rehabilitation Unit provides care to patients of various ages and patient care. The Acute Rehab team provides exemplary care to patients who have undergone a life changing event. Empathy, Compassion, and Quality of care are just a few of the characteristics of our astounding team. Ranked #2 in the state of Indiana, by Newsweek for America's Best Physical Rehabilitation Centers 2022. Involved Leadership, vested nurses, and a family-like culture. Great nurse to patient ratios. Registered Nurse Roles and Responsibilities: To render professional nursing care to a group of assigned patients within the hospital. Collaborates with the medical staff and other members of the health care team to provide quality patient care. Performs all the activities in accordance with approved policies and guides. Supervises and delegates to ancillary personnel. Required Skills & Qualifications: Current RN license to practice in Indiana (IN licensure or multi-state (compact) license) Successful completion of The Community Healthcare System's Personnel and Nursing Orientation Programs Obtains and maintains current CPR certification.
