The Registered Nurse (RN) position within the University Hospitals Center for Advanced Heart & Vascular Care (UH CAHVC) involves comprehensive ambulatory nursing care for patients undergoing advanced cardiac imaging procedures, including CT and MRI. In this capacity, the RN will administer cardiac stress testing under provider supervision.

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.

Qualifications: Education Other Accredited Program Diploma in Nursing or (ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing (required) (BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (preferred) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge of nursing process and practice (required) Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (i.e. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices (required) Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio (required) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required or obtained within orientation. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) May be required based on clinical area standards. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) May be required based on clinical area standards.
