The UH Geauga Regionals Medical Center Cath Lab is a small group of dedicated cardiac professionals who enjoy the challenge of treating cardiac, peripheral, and interventional Radiology procedures. Cardiac Cath Lab RNs work closely with our techs and may scrub, circulate, or monitor cases rotating as necessary. We provide the option of either 5-8 hour shifts or 4-10 hour shifts, with no weekend or holiday requirements except for on-call coverage. Call-house lodging available by reservation. What You Will Do Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care. Qualifications: Education Other Accredited Program Diploma in Nursing or (ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required) (BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred) (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge of nursing process and practice. (Required proficiency) Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices. (Required proficiency) Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License Upon Hire (Required) and Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire or must be obtained during nursing orientation (Required) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) May be required based on clinical area standards. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) May be required based on clinical area standards.
