A Brief Overview WOCN certification HIGHLY PREFERRED or goal to obtain certification within 2 years of hire. The position will cover primarily inpatient ostomy patients as well as the outpatient ostomy clinic 1-2 days per week. This person would also help with wound coverage for Ahuja inpatients as well. The hours for this position are 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.

Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes. Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. Qualifications: Education (BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required) or (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Required) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge of nursing process and practice. (Required proficiency) Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices. (Required proficiency) Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License Upon Hire (Required) and Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire (Required) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) May be required based on clinical area standards.
