GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Leads orientations and presentations to sell and/or renew MCS Advantage's line of business products to potential clients or beneficiaries (as applicable) that are eligible for the Medicare Program, according to the regulations established by CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services), and the company's goals and parameters.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Generates referrals by participating in activities that MCS sponsors or led by the sales representative.
Works and submits the results of the referred leads assigned by their supervisor or sales representative within 48 business hours.
Coordinates the daily appointments properly.
Delivers daily reports presenting the work results of the previous day.
Makes at least four daily visits to the beneficiaries or providers' residences interested in receiving product orientation to create orientation opportunities and/or activities.
Submits complete enrollment forms to the Service Center base.
Establish contact via cell phone at least three times a day with their immediate supervisor to validate the progress and results of their daily work plan.
Ensures that MCS Classicare prospects or clients receive the corresponding orientation.
Helps beneficiaries with the enrollment and selection of the PCP (Primary Care Provider) processes and ensures they are completed correctly.
Verifies that all subscriptions are complete before submitting them to the supervisor and that they contain the member's orientation authorization card. If the referral came through telemarketing, the authorization card would not be necessary.
Meets the assigned weekly and monthly quotas.
Complies fully and consistently with the company's standards, policies, and procedures, in conjunction with local and federal laws applicable to our industry, business, and employment practices.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, subject to the education and experience requirements stated in this document.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma. Minimum three (3) years of sales experience, preferably in the health insurance industry or related areas (i.e., sales coordinator, sales executive, sales assistant, renewals specialist, telemarketing representative)
OR
Education and Experience:
60 approved credits equivalent to two (2) years of university studies and one (1) year of sales experience, preferably in the health insurance industry or related areas, i.e., sales coordinator, sales executives, sales assistant, renewals specialist, telemarketing representative)
"Proven experience may be replaced by previously established requirements."
Certifications / Licenses:
Current health services license. (If the candidate does not have a license, a provisional license will do if they pass the Commissioner of Insurance exam on the first attempt). Valid driver's license and car from the Commonwealth of PR.
