Position: Residential Program Coordinator Summary:
Block Institute is seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Program Coordinator to ensure that our residences operate at maximum efficiency while maintaining regulatory compliance and providing a high quality of life for all residents and staff. The Program Coordinator will provide ongoing guidance to Group Home Managers and their staff, and will step in to manage residences in the absence of management.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Residential Program Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
Use discretion and independent judgment involving the comparison and evaluation of possible courses of conduct. These judgments may affect business operations or have a significant financial impact. Has the authority to waive or deviate from established rules or policies, but will always keep open the lines of communication with their direct supervisor and/or upper administration, as this makes for best business practices. Has significant input in decisions regarding hiring, transferring, suspending, laying off, recalling, promoting, discharging, rewarding or disciplining, adjusting employees' grievances, assigning duties and schedules, and responsibly directing employees in the Residential Program. Ensure the implementation of all aspects of quality programming in assigned residences. Directly supervise Managers and Assistant Managers in day-to-day operations as necessary. Provide supervisory coverage in the absence of management due to open positions, illness, vacation, etc. Provide supervision and oversight, as necessary, to clinical team members. Responsible for oversight of all residential monitoring systems, as well as the assessment and development of new systems where indicated, such as staff schedules, finances (individual and house), payroll issues, medication issues, etc. Attend staff meetings and case reviews on a consistent basis. Provide training to management as required or needed. Ensure all vital information is shared with the Director of Residential Services as needed. Provide on-call coverage/supervision seven days a week or as designated by the Director. Ensure residences are maintained in an aesthetically pleasing, clean, and safe manner. Attendance/Punctuality: is consistently at work and on time. Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent. Arrives at meetings and appointments on time. Mandatory attendance at required in-service training, with the ability to absorb and demonstrate compliance with all regulations and Block Institute policy and procedure requirements. All Block Employees will be required to learn and master the use of any and all software systems and technology utilized by the Agency, on a Program by Program basis. Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises all Managers and Assistant Managers, and ultimately has a supervisory role over all Residential staff except the Director.
