Provides respiratory care for residents who are ventilator dependent or with other pulmonary needs including weaning under the direction of the Pulmonologist.
Graduate of an AMA approved program for respiratory therapy (1 year program) Appropriate experience in all aspects of respiratory care NYS Department of Education License as a Respiratory Therapist Technician Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRTT) Current BCLS certification Computer skills sufficient to use excel, outlook, CPOE, touchscreen, EMAR, ETAR, etc. Knowledge and use of clinical practice guidelines and best practices
