Right in the middle of Santa Monica, Milo & Olive is an all-day wholesale, retail bakery, and wood-fired pizzeria located in Santa Monica. We're a fast-paced, high-volume bakery/restaurant looking to bring on a talented, hard-working, passionate leader to join our management team. Sense of humor, a positive attitude are a must, and gotta love pizza ;). We're a hard-working team, love what we do, and take great pride in nourishing our community.

Some of the responsibilities of this position include:
* Assist with day-to-day restaurant operations such as managing the host stand, booking events, running service
* Ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are implemented and reviewed on a timely basis.
* Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food preparation, serving, and building maintenance requirements.
* Ensure company values in service, quality, the appearance of the facility through training of employees.
* Create a positive, productive work environment through effective supervision and direction.
* Ensure proper use of PPE
* Report, investigate and help resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations.
* Support administration of prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for all violations of company policies, rules, and procedures
* Able to communicate fluently with guests and deliver great experiences
* Educate staff on rules and expectations, dishes, cocktails, instructions, etc.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
* 2+ years of restaurant management experience
* Excellent emotional control in fast-paced environments
* Dedication to timeliness and radical attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing
* Upbeat and energetic attitude
* Responsible and trustworthy
