Description Job Title: Restorative Justice and Culture Program Manager

Employee type: Year-round, Full-time Exempt, Salaried

Pay: $82,619.00 - $86,750.00 per year

Reports to: Presidio Beacon Program Director

JOB SUMMARY: The Restorative Justice Program Manager oversees the day to day operations of the Restorative Justice & Culture Program at Presidio Middle School. This program supports all District and agency staff with professional development around Tier 1 behavioral supports and community building. Additionally, this individual uses and models restorative justice through mediation and conflict resolution. Reporting to this individual is a case manger who will support the most hard-to-reach students.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Partners with Beacon Director and Principal to set a clear vision, timeline, and goals for Presidio's tier 1 culture climate and essential classroom practices. Serves as a school day to day link to the school faculty and admin. Ensures compliance with grant regulations as described by our funders, including attending required meetings. Provides employment life cycle (hires, trains, supervises, evaluates, and disciplines) for case manager(s). Collaborate with the SFUSD Coordinated Care team to deliver 1-3 monthly hours of whole staff professional development. Work with individuals and teams to support teachers in development of best practices for strong classroom culture (subject departments). Collaborates with Beacon Director and School Principal to collect and share data (instructional, student feedback, panorama survey, classroom visits, etc.) to strategically inform priorities to inform the actions of the culture and climate team and evolve tier 1 vision. Collaborates with Wellness Center and school social workers. Engage and model restorative justice through mediation and conflict resolution with students, families, faculty, staff, and community members. Qualifications EXPERIENCE 3+ years experience in Restorative Justice and Response to Intervention 1 year experience supervising staff 1 year experience facilitating development in diverse groups of adults, up to 100 people Preferred: CA State Single-Subject Teaching Credential Track record of significant academic gains and strong classroom culture/behavior management Experience leading diverse communities of adults towards ambitious goals Comfort using G Suite applications (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.) CHARACTERISTICS Systems thinker Self-reflective Deep belief that behavior communicates student need, and in child-centered approaches WE WILL HELP YOU MEET THIS REQUIREMENT IF NECESSARY. Typical Working Conditions: School classroom-type environment (Work-from-home until school resumes on site)

Equipment Used: Computer, telephone, printer, fax

Essential Physical Tasks: This job requires frequent lifting, pushing and pulling under 10 lbs and occasionally up to 20 lbs. Because of the use of the computer, this job frequently uses the keyboard which requires repetitive motion and dexterity. In the course of the job, frequent walking over uneven and slippery surfaces, and sitting for periods of time. There is also occasional reaching.
