We are looking for a new team member to join our Factory Outlet store as part of the Retail/Customer service team in a renowned, growing, and competitive industry.
The Spyderco Factory Outlet store hours are Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and Saturdays, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position requires 40 hours per week over 5 days, some Saturdays and holidays required.
Compensation: $21-23/hr.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service by way of solid product knowledge, professionalism, and personable communication, both in person and over the phone. Greet all customers, ascertain their needs and interests to appropriately guide and assist with purchases. Process, troubleshoot and assist with shipping all e-commerce orders and special purchase programs. Meet team sales goals with a focus on providing a positive experience for the customer both in-store, through emails and over the phone. Collaborate with warranty & repair to ensure customer satisfaction with product services, repairs and replacements. Manage high volume of incoming phone calls, walk-in customers, clip and parts requests, and email inquiries. Answer customer inquiries, resolve complaints, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and professionalism. Assist Manager with monitoring stock levels both in-store and on-line and restocking to minimize out of stocks and low inventory. Must communicate clearly and professionally via email, and other various channels as needed to deliver an exceptional service experience. Handle all transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining appropriate cash handling, opening, closing and reporting procedures. The right candidate will have: Experience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on excellence in customer service. A high school diploma or equivalent Basic knowledge in Microsoft office Strong math, reading, and writing skills Ability to lift 25+ pounds A passion for working with the public and delivering excellent customer service An enthusiastic, positive attitude with exceptional written and verbal communication skills Shopify and/or NetSuite experience is beneficial. Experience and/or passion for knives is a plus.
