Summary: As a Fine Dining Runner, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service by ensuring the timely and accurate presentation of food and beverages to our guests. Your attention to detail, knowledge of the menu, and ability to communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff will enhance the overall dining experience
Responsibilities: Efficiently transport food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to the appropriate table. Communicate with chefs and kitchen staff to understand the status of each order. Prioritize hot or time-sensitive items to maintain their temperature and quality. Check each dish for accuracy, presentation, and adherence to quality standards before delivering it to the guest. Verify special requests, or dietary restrictions, and communicate them to the kitchen staff. Support servers when needed, such as refilling water or clearing empty plates. Keep the expo area and service stations clean and organized. Assist with clearing and resetting tables, ensuring a clean and organized dining area. Maintain open communication channels with the kitchen, servers, and other restaurant staff. Relay important information, such as delays or changes in orders promptly. Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner. Address any guest concerns or inquiries related to the food being served. Handle multiple orders simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on urgency. Assist in managing peak dining hours and ensuring timely service. Monitor the quality of dishes to uphold the restaurant's standards. Report any issues or discrepancies to the kitchen or management for resolution. Follow proper food safety and sanitation protocols. Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Ensure an exceptional dining experience by following the Company's standard of service. Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines. Must Haves: Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role preferred, especially in a fine dining environment. Knowledge of basic food safety and health regulations Customer-centric Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
