Overview:
Reports to: Drains Service Manager for Coaching and operations and Installation Manager for sales, install, and job costing.
Responsibilities: Technically savvy, customer-friendly who creates a quality first impression every time and provides diagnosis and long-term, permanent solutions for sewer issues. The Sewer Sales technician is positioned as the sewer expert who can pinpoint sewer issues, reasons for them and provide sound, permanent solutions for clients to choose.Follows behind drain technician after flow has been restored or called in if flow unable to be restored for next step recommendations.Engages clients in process using print tutorials and closed caption monitor and navigates sewer camera equipment.Accurately traces sewer line using professional sonar equipment.Considers labor, material, permit, equipment and sub-contractor expense prior to presenting price to clients to ensure projects meet job profitability targets.Establishes professional and pleasant rapport with all associate drain technicians and dispatchers.Takes photos of job site and provides thorough description of work to be performed to set the install crew up for success and ensure the install team delivers and excellent customer experience.Responsible for filling the install board for multiple sewer crews.Educates clients on financing options.Self-starter who seeks innovate methods and referrals to generate additional business.Responds to on-call service requests/turnovers as necessary.Contributes to department goal by striving for 100% service close rate and turns over sister department leads according to Precisions process.All responsibilities are to be fulfilled with the utmost respect, integrity, and professionalism in dealings with clients, prospective clients and fellow employees.Requirements: Must have a proven track record in a similar role performing at a high levelMust demonstrate competence in communicating sewer issues and clearly explain solutions that homeowners can understand.Must be proficient with using iphone/ipadMust have a clean DMV report and pass pre-employment screenings.
Responsibilities:
What YOU will do as a Drain Tech: Complete all drain cleaning, jetting and cable work related to in-home, service calls.Educate and assist customers on the importance of sewer repair and replacement.Protect drain cleaning equipment and keep a well inventoried truck.
