Sales Territory Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Build and maintain strong customer relationships in a team-based selling model Manage deliveries and troubleshoot any order process problems Communicate with customers to collect accounts receivable as necessary Identify and develop new business opportunities through market intelligence, leads, and events Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products and prices Drive to visit existing customers and prospects RELATIONSHIPS
Internal: District and Regional Sales Managers, VP of Local Sales, Accounting/Credit, Marketing, and Operations
External: Customers, vendors, prospective customers
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1+ year of sales experience preferred
Experience in foodservice/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality preferred
Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
Customer service and interpersonal skills
Competitive and results-driven mentality
Problem-solving, organization, and negotiation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
EDUCATION
HS Diploma or equivalent
LICENSES
Valid driver's license and good motor vehicle record required
