**Department Overview**
At TD Bank we have a unique opportunity for working in a startup environment within the US Wealth management Engineering team. We are looking for a Salesforce Developer that will be responsible for designing solutions and owning the engineering, testing, release and deployment of applications.
Our Salesforce Developer will work with multiple stakeholders to deliver solutions that are highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable on the Salesforce platform. This person will anticipate bottlenecks, drive the simplification and automation of processes and balance business needs versus technical constraints. Your technical expertise and operational excellence will influence the teams decisions and drive secure and robust solutions. While Salesforce will be the focus, the right Developer should be willing and able to learn and support other related technologies as needed.
**Job Description**
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage Support Salesforce FSC production instance and sandboxes for resolution of any issues.
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support (triage, debugging and resolution of production issues raised with 3rd party vendors, e.g. Salesforce, Skience, Riva.
Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
Responsible for developing, testing code updates in lower environments and create change sets to promote into production.
Work with our institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements
Negotiate solutions to complex business scenarios with multiple stakeholders and business use cases/agendas.
Configuration of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Sales Cloud
Execute on and report on the technical scope and client expectations.
Coordinate solution testing and end user sign off.
**Requirements**
Skills Required:
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
Previous experience with Salesforce Financial Service Cloud, Community Cloud and Sales Cloud.
Saleforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified
Sales Cloud, Financial Services Cloud and Developer certifications preferred
Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
Strong data management abilities
A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
Experience writing functional specifications, specifically for Salesforce requirements. Experience with data migrations from third party technology to Salesforce.com
Experience designing and building third party integrations with Salesforce.com
Experience and knowledge of DevOps in salesforce.
Development experience with either JAVA or Siebel.
Prior OO programming in JAVA, Ruby or .Net preferred.
Force.com platform experience.
Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred
Minimum of 3 years Salesforce.com development experience.
Minimum of 3 years development experience with Force.com, Visual Force or APEX.
SSO & web services experience.
A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
Minimum of 3 years experience of requirements gathering, testing & training experience.
