Sanitation Associate

Major Duties and Responsibilities: Wash and sanitize food processing equipment, bread trays and trash bins.Disposed of food waste, garbage and recycling daily throughout the building, abiding by the company "Green Waste" recycling program.Maintain a food safety environment, complying with Revolution Foods, the State and Federal policies.Adhere to GMP by maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment (Dry floors, proper knife storage, etc.).Sweep and mop the floors and stairsRefilled chemical containersReport potential issues to managementKeep all cleaning equipment clean and sanitizeFollow the master sanitation chart at all timesAll other duties as assigned.Performs other duties as needed.Preferred Qualifications:High school diploma or GED certificatePrevious experience in a manufacturing environment preferredExperience in a time-sensitive environmentExperience with manual pallet jacksExperience in cleaning facilitiesRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:Ability to communicate and read labels in EnglishKnowledge of SSOPs in manufacture facility preferredAble to work with others or independentKnowledge of safe and proper sanitation procedures in a manufacturing setting highly preferredWorking Conditions:Work is within a factory setting, with chilled temperatures Exposed to cold, wet, and damp conditions.All Preventive Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided. Routinely lifts and carries objects weighing 25-50 poundsProlonged standing and walking is routinely required. Routinely required to stand, walk, bend, carry, crouch, grasp, hold, kneel, lift , push/pull, reach, squat, stand, stoop, stretch, turn, twist, talk, listen and communicate with others.This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of the tasks that may be expected.
