About this Position:
We are looking for a change agent who can drive process and software improvements as well as manage the day-to-day production planning, scheduling, material flow, and monitoring to achieve delivery dates, output quality, volume, cost and optimization objectives.
Key Responsibilities include:
Manages all phases of production planning including supply and demand forecasting, resource allocation and utilization
Oversees the development of production schedules, monitors daily schedules, and make adjustments as needs arise, based on customer priorities
Maximizes the use resources and materials in the most efficient manner possible while ensuring the highest level of customer service is maintained
Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective planning methodologies and best practices
Works closely with IT to develop production planning processes within SAP
Takes an active role in making improvements to production processes and software
Establishes monitoring tools and processes to identify and minimize waste, inefficiencies, and inventory in production operations
Develops and maintains status reports on relevant business KPIs and performance metrics
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in business, operations management or related field
Minimum of 3 years leadership experience
5 or more years of experience utilizing SAP in a multilocation manufacturing environment
Proficiency with SAP elements including:
Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling - required
S/4HANA - preferred
HANA - preferred
Warehouse Management (eWM) - preferred
Fiori - preferred
Proficiency with MS Office applications
Ability to collaborate and deliver results in a fast paced, service driven, manufacturing environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Sound Problem solving and decision making skills
