Under the direction of the Building Principal and Director of Student Services, the School Nurse will promote the physical, mental, emotional, and social well being of students and staff. The school nurse is directly responsible for the Health Services program in assigned buildings.

Knowledge Skills and Ability Required:
Type 73 Certification as defined by the Illinois State Teachers Certification Board for School Nurses
OR an RN License with an ISBE certification in school nursing Audiometric Certification Hearing and Vision Screening Certification CPR/AED Instructor certification is mandatory First Aid Instructor recommended
Reports to: Building Principal and Director of Student Services
