Screw Machine Operator/Set-Up 1St & 2Nd Shift

An established Metal Manufacturer operating in the Die Casting and Metal Cutting business is looking for a CNC Screw Machinist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and programming CNC screw machines to produce precision metal components according to specifications. The CNC Screw Machinist will play a critical role in maintaining the highest quality standards and contributing to the success of our manufacturing processes.Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC screw machines to produce precision metal components in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and production schedules.Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining processes and tooling requirements.Program, edit, and optimize CNC machine controls using appropriate software and codes.Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the machining process to ensure proper operations.Perform routine machine maintenance and adjustments, including tool changes and tool offsets, to maintain optimal performance and accuracy.Monitor the quality of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime and ensure the smooth flow of production.
