LSPedia is hiring a savvy QuickBooks Online (QBO) Accountant who's not just great with numbers but knows how to make them work smarter for us. If you're a tech-savvy, detail oriented, and self-motivated professional with a flair for financial and data integrity, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities: Day to day accounting practice: Maintain timely and accurate bookkeeping practice using QBO to manage transactions, reconciliations, and schedule consolidated and departmental financial reports to key decision makers. AR excellence: Build strong relationships with customers and effectively run the accounts receivable process from invoicing to collections leading to 98% on time payments. System & process optimization: Customize and optimize QBO settings and workflows for maximum efficiency. Implement automation tools to streamline tasks and minimize errors. Internal controls and compliance: Develop and enforce controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity and GAAP compliance. Work with outside Tax and audit consultants for audit and tax reporting. Budgeting & forecasting: Develop budgets, track performance, and provide analysis to drive financial strategy. Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets and financial reports that will assist the CEO and other senior managers to make enforced decisions. Anticipate emerging issues requiring management's attention well in advance. Minimum Requirements:Accounting experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field with at least 5 years of hands-on QuickBooks Online experience meagering order to cash cycle using QBO or ERP software. Math and excel expertise: Advanced Math and Excel skills, including pivot table, complex formulas, and data analysis. Financial analytics: Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights. Self-starter: Proactive, independent, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Detail oriented: Meticulous with a sharp eye for accuracy in bookkeeping and financial records. Preferred Requirements:Tech integration: Experience integrating QBO with other software to streamline processes. Experience with external stakeholders: Manage financing, communications, and reporting with banks, insurance, and lenders. Vendor management: efficient review, negotiation, and administration of vendor contracts. This role is onsite daily in Farmington Hills, MI.
