Our client is in the healthcare space. They are on a mission to reduce healthcare costs by minimizing IT overhead associated with healthcare administration. As an ambitious startup, we're poised to challenge the status quo and revolutionize traditional healthcare pricing processes using advanced data technologies. Specifically, we employ data transparency mechanisms to unify insurance companies, employers, and healthcare providers on a more equitable and transparent pricing platform. We have the strong backing of a top Silicon Valley VC as our Seed round investor, which has invested in several healthcare startup unicorns. With their support, we are addressing this multi-billion-dollar opportunity.
What You Will Do:Collaborate closely with our CTO and our founding engineer who are an expert in full stack development.Develop maintainable Python/FastAPI backends for our API; leverage AWS cloud services to enable complex workflow engine.Build backend for large language model app on AWS cloud.Work with our Front-end engineers and our product manager to deliver key backend functionality at a fast pace.Qualifications:Self-motivated and accountable, with a penchant for delivering high-caliber software.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.Fluent in English, with a mastery of technical communication for design and delivery.5+ years of experience in one of the Python Rest Service frameworks such as Django, Flask, FastAPI (we are using FastAPI in our production).Deep understanding of ORM and data modeling and management tools such as SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Pydantic, etc.Past experience with AWS Lambda and Step Functions to manage workflow engine; managing cloud stack through infrastructure as code (IaC) framework such as CDK/Terraform is a huge plus (we use CDK for our IaC).Strong background in TDD practice and expert level of driving TDD product building.Salary: $140-180k USD, 150-160k Canadian
