The Opportunity As a Senior Backend Engineer at Kandji, you will design and build the core services that power our web application, while maintaining security and scalability. You will work alongside our macOS and Infrastructure engineers to bring world class products to market. We are looking for a software engineer with experience building large-scale, mission-critical enterprise software in an object-oriented language. Minimum Qualifications5+ years of professional engineering experienceExceptional proficiency in Python, Django (2+ years) or a similar language and web application frameworkExperience with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, etc.Authoritative understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software designData-driven, analytical, hypothesis/validation mindsetAbility to identify problems/opportunities, break them down into critical parts, and design solution optionsExperience working in a fast-paced startup environmentExperience with continuous integration and deployment of a large web application, and associated build, test, and deployment methodologies and toolsExperience with RESTful APIFamiliar with microservice architectureExperience with modern frameworks on backend and frontendRequired to work on-site 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
