The role is an individual sales contributor role. This is a remote, working from home position with someone based on the east coast You will focus on winning new business and managing accounts within pharma & biotechnology companies across a broad range of therapeutic areas, including oncology and rare diseases. In order to be successful in this role you will require a strong network and sales track record in this region, selling full services CRO solutions.
Your role will include:
Achieving agreed upon sales and business development targets, creating and implementing appropriate business development strategies for identified target marketsProspecting with the goal of establishing a pipeline of sales opportunities and RFP's from potential clients; suitably qualified for competitive advantage, timing, budget, decision makerEstablishing relationships with potential CRO partners that can result in RFP's that require a collaborative approach that emphasizes the strengths of each individual organization towards winning new businessMeeting with potential clients on a regular basisUtilizing Salesforce to keep track of client activities including meetings and entering opportunities and updates as required to inform Management of current statusLeading and managing the sales process for leads generated and leads received from internal and external sources.Leading the proposals development process for all opportunities and the assigned team to ensure that the strategy, budget and proposal language and timelines matches the expectations of the client as identified through extensive interactions with these clients.Continually redefining appropriate and profitable market niches for business opportunities, based on evidence.Providing input to the Marketing team so that they can create and implement appropriate marketing strategies that support the business development process and teamProviding input to business development leadership based on territory and industry knowledge to develop sales targets, sales strategies and sales plansWorking with the team to define and implement strategies to support the sales process, including securing resources to perform pre-sales activitiesEngaging with agents and consultants in other geographic locations to support business development activities in those marketsEngaging with internal research staff to maximise selling opportunities associated with existing travel schedules of those staffIdentifying and attending appropriate conferences and trade shows to create business opportunitiesTo apply for this role, please send an up to date cv to ******
