We are looking for a talented and experienced commercial lawyer to fill the position of Senior Corporate Counsel to support the Amazon Web Services ("AWS") Sales and Marketing organization. This Senior Corporate Counsel will be part of the AWS Sales and Marketing legal team and will serve as a trusted advisor to the Global Deal Strategy & Programs (GDSP) organization, a fast-growing business that leads AWS's most strategic commercial customer engagements across the world.

Key Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities in supporting GDSP include:
Negotiating complex cloud services agreements.
Advising on regulatory and compliance issues and the launches of new products and tools.
Innovating to modernize and scale our legal support.
Participating in other AWS legal projects, including managing issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and driving simplification efforts.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years of legal experience.
Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent.
Experience in technology and commercial transactions or businesses.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, outsourcing, telecommunications, cloud computing services or equivalent.
Experience working closely with and advising senior executives of an organization or equivalent.
Experience working independently and directly with all levels of legal and business partners or equivalent.
In-house experience at a technology or internet company.
Ability to set, drive strategy, and provide guidance to the team.
Ability to manage multiple projects at once, to exercise sound judgment in mission-critical situations, and to work cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders.
