The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of legal matters related to the company's manufacturing and supply chain operations, with a focus on product sourcing, development, manufacturing, quality, distribution, and various partnerships. This high-impact role requires a strategic legal thinker who can develop and implement a legal strategy for the operations organization, and foster a culture of integrity and ethical behavior. The Senior Counsel will also be a key adviser and business partner, providing legal guidance on a variety of matters including, but not limited to, pharmaceutical and radioactive isotope manufacturing and distribution, and will lead the legal and compliance team in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, a Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent, and be admitted to practice law in at least one US state. A minimum of 9 years of legal or compliance experience, with at least 5 years in-house at a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical device company, is required. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in sales-side and supplier-side contracting, particularly in the context of complex pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution agreements, and extensive knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the health and life sciences sector. Key capabilities include strong interpersonal and communication skills, high ethical standards, and a proven record of managing complex legal matters.
