About the role: The Billing Team owns our cloud billing system that is responsible for translating customer resource usage into billing data. They ensure CoreWeave's customers are reliably billed and invoiced for their resource usage, and artifacts are available for internal and external consumption through intuitive and well-designed interfaces.
We are seeking Senior Engineers who are passionate about solving complex problems with simple systems to join the Billing Team and help us build the next generation of this critical platform. Individuals will join a fast-paced, high-performing team and have the opportunity to play a crucial role in designing and developing the billing system in a communicative and supportive environment. As a member of the Billing Team, you will have the opportunity to:
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, business operations, accounting, and other stakeholders to determine the requirements and scope of projects. Design, develop, scale, and maintain the next-generation cloud billing system. Identify and resolve bottlenecks and inefficiencies in billing processes. Work with a passionate team of engineers in an iterative, agile environment. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions to ensure high-quality software development practices. Wondering if you're a good fit? You have five or more years of experience in a senior or tech leadership software engineering role. Prior experience building reliable and scalable platform services that process large amounts of data. Experience with Prometheus/PromQL and/or solid understanding of time series data. Proficiency in any of Python, TypeScript or Go. You have some experience using Kubernetes with a conceptual understanding of its major components.
Passion for problem solving in a fast-paced environment. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $165,000- $200,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Hybrid Workplace Successful candidates will be expected to attend onboarding training at our NJ Headquarters within their first several weeks of employment, with subsequent quarterly travel requirements of 1 week duration.
