Senior Financial Analyst | Manufacturing

Global leading manufacturer of highly technical components for the aerospace industry is building out their Finance team! Hiring Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst to manage weekly cash forecasting, financial forecasting and financial reporting, in addition to overseeing the company's annual budget prep. Opportunity to advance in this highly visible role to C-suite and parent company. Keys to an interview: Senior Financial Analyst | Manufacturing Foundation in financial accounting and reporting. Public accounting and CPA both nice to have.Experience with annual budget preparation (P&L)Experience with monthly financial forecasting and reporting (P&L)At least 2-3 years of relevant Financial Analyst experience Key responsibilities: Senior Financial Analyst | Manufacturing Analyze financial data and prepare various reports, including budget comparisons, profit analyses, financial ratios, and operations reviews.Collaborate with the Controller and CFO to provide timely and accurate financial reporting to corporate parent on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and ad-hoc basis.Maintain and update the 3-year financial statement file, including actuals, forecasts, and budgets.Generate monthly internal financial statements, reports, and analyses; ensure entry into Cognos.Prepare and monitor actuals vs. forecast vs. budget, analyzing variances and communicating insights to management.Oversee the weekly and monthly cash forecasting process.Lead the annual budget process and related reporting.Provide financial guidance to project managers and department heads.Support month-end close processes, including half-year and full-year Stat Pack submissions.Assist with financial analytics and reporting for internal and external audits.Monitor and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures.Perform ad hoc projections and projects to support leadership strategic initiatives
