Sodexo Live's Airport Lounge Segment is seeking a Regional Executive Chef for our prestigious American Airlines portfolio of lounges in the Northeast. Reporting to the Culinary Director, you will oversee food production activities for airport clubs/lounges, including menu rollouts, training, execution, people development, and more. The best qualified candidate will have: multi-unit, upscale casual to fine dining culinary management experience, experience with training and leading culinary staff, online ordering and inventory management, experience with food and labor costing, and experience with menu creation and culinary catering production.
Strong preference for candidates who reside in the following geographies: Washington, DC metro area, Charlotte, NC, Philadelphia, PA, NYC or Boston metro area. Candidates MUST reside close to a HUB airport and be able to travel 50% of the time.
We are looking for candidates who will: ensure Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality; manage food costing, controls and compliance; develop menus; have high expectations for customer service and quality of food; have the ability and willingness to develop and train frontline employees; have a passion for food and innovation; have knowledge of special diets and allergens; and knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) is preferred. The ideal candidate has: a strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends; excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policies; previous experience working in a high-volume or multi-unit venue; and strong management skills.
