For Estimating services in the Capital area. WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT: The Technical Part: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration or related field with more than ten (10+) years of experience estimating within the manufacturing industry.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Team player and problem-solving skills Experience in: Manufacturing industry and a proven track record of delivering accurate and competitive estimates.
Deep understanding of engineering projects, cost analysis, and profit margins.
Proposal & RFP management.
Estimating software and tools, Microsoft Office Suit and familiarity with ERP systems.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job) Prepare Detailed Estimates: Analyze project requirements and prepare comprehensive cost estimates for manufacturing projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead.
Proposal Management: Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, ensuring all client requirements and specifications are met.
RFP Responses: Develop and coordinate responses to RFPs, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
Cost Analysis: Perform detailed cost analysis to determine project profitability and make recommendations for cost-saving measures.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, procurement, and project management teams to gather necessary information and insights for accurate estimating.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of estimates, proposals, and RFP responses, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide clarifications on estimates and proposals, and build strong, positive relationships.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements to continuously improve the estimating process.
