Your efforts will directly support reducing wildfire risks through cutting-edge technologies and data-driven strategies that enhance utility resilience.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will take the lead in developing and implementing processes to manage grant funding, streamline operations, and ensure the successful execution of key projects. You'll work across multiple departments to coordinate project plans, manage budgets, and track progress using tools like SAP. Additionally, you'll play a vital role in shaping the documentation and procedures that will serve as the foundation for future projects.
What You'll Do - Senior Project Manager: Lead project meetings, oversee timelines and ensure critical actions are tracked and addressed.Define project goals and establish comprehensive work plans, including scope, schedule, and cost management.Drive collaboration across departments, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities within project teams.Oversee financial forecasts, track cash flow, and manage project budgets, ensuring timely submission of deliverables.Collaborate with partners, ensuring alignment across the board, and coordinate efforts with cross-functional teams.Identify project risks, develop contingency plans, and resolve issues proactively to maintain project momentum.Integrate vendor deliverables, manage technical implementation, and ensure successful project outcomes.Support the financial planning process and assist in the development of innovative project valuation methods.Foster relationships with external partners and explore additional funding opportunities. What You Bring - Senior Project Manager: A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business or related fields.At least 5 years of project management experience with a solid understanding of formal project management methodologies.Experience in the utility industry, with hands-on experience managing budgets, schedules, and project scope using SAP.Strong knowledge of Lean processes and operating models (Lean certification is a plus).A proactive, self-starter mindset with excellent organizational and documentation skills.The ability to work effectively across departments and drive results in a dynamic environment. Bonus Points - Senior Project Manager: PMP certification is highly desirable.Experience working with grants or federal funds in regulated environments such as biotech, pharma, or government is a strong advantage.
