Company Overview Our client, leader in the industrial equipment industry with more than 50 years of establishment in Puerto Rico and LATAM. You are looking for a Senior Project Manager. Responsibilities and Duties Lead the Project Management Office (PMO): Lead the PMO and oversee project delivery activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling of projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Develop and Implement Project Management Policies, Standards, and Methodologies: Develop and implement project management policies, standards, and methodologies to standardize project management practices across the organization and ensure alignment with industry best practices. Provide Strategic Direction and Guidance: Provide strategic direction and guidance to project managers and project teams, ensuring projects are aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Monitor Project Portfolio Performance: Monitor project portfolio performance to ensure projects are delivering the expected business value and are aligned with business goals. Take corrective actions as necessary to address any issues or risks. Report on Project Status, Budget, and Risks: Prepare and present regular reports on project status, budget, and risks to senior management, providing visibility into project performance and highlighting areas that require attention. Manage Key Strategic Projects: Manage key strategic projects with the assistance of project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO to enhance project delivery capabilities, identify and implement best practices, and improve overall project performance. Perform Any Other Related Function: Undertake any other related function not previously outlined, as directed by supervisors or required to meet the objectives of the position and the needs of the company. Education & Requirements Bachelor's Degree: Possess a bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred to demonstrate advanced knowledge and expertise in the field. Experience: Have 8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in the IT or heavy machinery rental industry, showcasing the ability to lead and manage complex projects and teams effectively. Leadership Skills: Possess strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills to effectively lead and motivate project teams, drive change, and achieve project goals. Experience in Managing Large-Scale IT Transformation Projects: Have experience in managing large-scale IT transformation projects, demonstrating the ability to develop and execute strategic project plans, manage project budgets and resources, and mitigate risks effectively. Proficiency in Project Management Software: Demonstrate expertise in using project management software to assist in project planning, tracking, and reporting. Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Be fully proficient in using the MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to create and maintain project documentation and reports. Powered by JazzHR
