Senior Security Engineer, Infrastructure

We are looking for an experienced Senior Security Engineer with a passion for automation, detection, and alerting. You will also implement state of the art zero trust security architectures. You will work with cutting edge technologies and other experienced, motivated engineers securing Varo's infrastructure and customers. What youll be doingDesign, develop, and deploy cloud security solutions in AWS and other cloud platformsAutomate security processes to increase team efficiencyAnalyze existing behavior and write detections for anomaliesWork with DevOps, Data, IT, and Engineering teams to design effective solutions to secure their workloadsEstablish and communicate best practices in secure architecture and deploymentDocumenting processes and procedures for team use inside and outside of the teamYoull bring the following required skills experience 5+ years in a Security, Infrastructure engineering, or DevOps roleHands on experience with AWS and AWS security best practicesExperience writing and reviewing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)Experience with container security and container orchestration tools e.g. KubernetesAn understanding of secure networking principlesExperience automating repetitive processes in a language like Python, Go, or other languages#MidSenior
